UX Designer - mobile flows (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Fern Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Pittsburgh design routes and schedules, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
