UX Designer - mobile flows (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Maple Community Partners is a Phoenix charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
