UX Designer - mobile flows (Orlando, FL)

Harborlight Mill Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Orlando, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
