UX Designer - mobile flows (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight River Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 915 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
