UX Designer - mobile flows (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Sable Community Partners is a Oakland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
