UX Designer - mobile flows (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Kestrel Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account servicing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
