UX Designer - mobile flows (Minneapolis, MN)

Amberfield Corner Early Learning runs childcare centres in Minneapolis caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in meal programmes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
