UX Designer - mobile flows (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Rivermark North Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 515 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in catastrophe response. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
