UX Designer - mobile flows (Minneapolis, MN)

Lumen Kestrel Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
