UX Designer - mobile flows (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Sparrow Transit Planning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Miami. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
