UX Designer - mobile flows (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Harbor Transit Planning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
