UX Designer - mobile flows (Louisville, KY)

Lumen Transit Planning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 405 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
