UX Designer - mobile flows (Louisville, KY)

Fernwood Haven Medical designs and makes medical devices in Louisville, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
