UX Designer - mobile flows (Louisville, KY)

Summit Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Louisville working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
