UX Designer - mobile flows (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight West Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
