UX Designer - mobile flows (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Ridge Insurance is an insurance company in Knoxville with claims and service teams. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
