UX Designer - mobile flows (Jackson, MS)

Nova Cobalt Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Jackson plant. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
