UX Designer - mobile flows (Jackson, MS)

Stonegate Cross Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Jackson working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 719 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
