UX Designer - mobile flows (Indianapolis, IN)

Greenridge Mill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Indianapolis working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
