UX Designer - mobile flows (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Pine Community Partners Group is a Indianapolis charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
