UX Designer - mobile flows (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Timber Medical is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for production lots, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
