UX Designer - mobile flows (Honolulu, HI)

Summit Maple Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Honolulu. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
