UX Designer - mobile flows (Honolulu, HI)

Summit Thistle Early Learning runs childcare centres in Honolulu caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
