UX Designer - mobile flows (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook North Learning Group is an education provider in Hartford serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
