UX Designer - mobile flows (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Iron Early Learning and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
