UX Designer - mobile flows (El Paso, TX)

Cedar Fern Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around El Paso, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 556 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
