UX Designer - mobile flows (El Paso, TX)

Northwind West Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in El Paso working with agencies and riders, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 945 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
