UX Designer - mobile flows (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Banking Services Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
