UX Designer - mobile flows (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Summit Iron Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
