UX Designer - mobile flows (Detroit, MI)

Nova Meadow Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
