UX Designer - mobile flows (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Umber Banking Services Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 879 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
