UX Designer - mobile flows (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Union Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Detroit, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
