UX Designer - mobile flows (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Loom Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Des Moines. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
