UX Designer - mobile flows (Des Moines, IA)

Summit Haven Markets is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
