UX Designer - mobile flows (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Harbor Arts Center and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
