UX Designer - mobile flows (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Vale Press Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 956 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
