UX Designer - mobile flows (Chicago, IL)

Redstone Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Chicago, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
