UX Designer - mobile flows (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Wilder Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Chicago. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
