UX Designer - mobile flows (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Granite Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Chicago, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
