UX Designer - mobile flows (Charlotte, NC)

Summit River Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Charlotte, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
