UX Designer - mobile flows (Charlotte, NC)

Lumen Ember Press is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
