UX Designer - mobile flows (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Wilder Press produces print and digital publications in Charleston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in customer orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
