UX Designer - mobile flows (Buffalo, NY)

Bluepeak Rook Markets Group is a Buffalo retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
