UX Designer - mobile flows (Buffalo, NY)

Bright Bridge Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Buffalo working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
