UX Designer - mobile flows (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield Bright Early Learning runs childcare centres in Buffalo caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 173 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
