UX Designer - mobile flows (Buffalo, NY)

Bright Amber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Buffalo area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
