UX Designer - mobile flows (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Summit Junction Press and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
