UX Designer - mobile flows (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Drift Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Boston, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
