UX Designer - mobile flows (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Timber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Boston area. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Boston. What you will do • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in learning materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
