UX Designer - mobile flows (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Timber Medical designs and makes medical devices in Birmingham, and we need a UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory submissions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in regulatory submissions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
